I shy away from purchasing online. Many plants purchased this way are not tolerant of your areas conditions, even though the same type plant may grow there. I go to garden centers (not big box stores) and purchase my plants. This also gives me a place to cure problems if any occur. By the time you figure shipping and taking a chance on them dying, the price is about the same. I do buy some plants that cannot be obtained in my area but go through plant specific websites I belong to. I grow Plumerias in Arkansas so it is hard to get them here.
