People write this question every day, and every day people write back the same answers- like citrus peel, lion poo from the zoo...etc. These things might work, but really there's nothing you can do. Cats are everywhere and just come and go as they please. That's just the way it is, and many people love em for it. You are worried about the Toxoplasma bug since you're pregnant. As long as you don't pick one of the cats up and give it a big snog you won't catch it!
Many millions of pregnant women live with cats and are perfectly healthy, and have healthy babies. You won't catch it just because a cat's been in your garden.
They are free- ranging animals that people cannot control like they can with dogs. The council, nor the owners will do anything about them being in your garden, because they are not a health risk (despite some people determined to think the opposite because they don't like them), and like I said, they can't be controlled once they're outside.
Do your best with other people's suggestions and just relax- cats are cool.

2 options that WORK!
Moth balls do do the trick. I cut an old onion bag up (the ones w/ holes), put a couple in there, and then tie them. I spread them all throughout my property (under bushes, under my house, approx. 4-5 feet apart--so that way your whole place won't smell like mothballs!) This is also good for getting rid of spiders & other small bugs!
Something else that works is getting chili powder, or any other type of spicy powder, & sprinkle it throughout your garden. I done this @ the beginning of spring, & all the neighborhood cats have now kept away. I just scattered it everywhere! I used the cheapest stuff I could find. ( It cost $1 for a bottle) & only had to use 1 bottle!!
I hope this helps you. They both have worked for me! And good luck with your pregnancy!!

you can put broken glass on the garden this works but not very safe for you or you can purchase a garden weather vain which turns around in the wind and makes noises this does work and scares the cats away or you could get some special plants from the garden centre that let off a scent and cats do not go near them forgot what they are called but the garden centre will know? If else fails you could get a dog?
Hope this helps you and good luck with your baby!

I have found over the years that the best thing to keep cats away is Mothballs spread them around where the cats dump. I have used this method around my Aviaries with great success buy them from your local chemist £1 a pkt.and they won't do you any harm.

I was once stricken by this problem, after finding on the cyber web for superb thoughts and attempting many like the digital cat repellents, i chanced on that blending broken egg shells, lemon peel and different citrus, tea bags and the two tea tree oil or peppermint oil all mixed jointly and putting over affected area stopped them over night. It additionally breaks down leaving no risky chemical compounds in the soil. i chanced on the digital gizmo's annoyed me greater desirable than the cats.

Are u sure these are cats dumping all over your garden? cats do not dump on lawns as a general rule, they do prefer to dig a hole, dump then cover it up! Maybe its foxes dumping on your garden..or maybe the cats round your way are dirty critters..not sure...just a thought!

I spray the garden with Phenyle, stops them spraying, pooping its great, bin cleaners often have it in it, being pregnant id advise you to get someone else to spray. It doesn't smell the best but it works :)

Spray some dog/wolf urine (hunting places have stuff like this). The cats will avoid "marked" areas.

Get some tiger poo from Marwell zoo. They will post it to you and you can put it round your garden ( or get someone else to do it for you) It worked for my sister.
