I personally find that the Guardian is a little too liberal, the independant offers a less biased view, and I would put it firmly in the middle of The Times & The Guardian on the political scale

The Guardian was an excellent newspaper many years ago when It was the Manchester Guardian and had contributors like Neville Cardus. Since those heady days it has experienced a long and steady decline.

Probably. I never think there is a great deal to read in the Guardian. I find all newspapers vary a lot from day to day though - on some days they can be a very good read, on others nothing in them.
The nothing in them comment applies on most days when it comes to the Sun, the Star and the Daily Express, however.

The Independent is better. I used to read the Guardian all the time but it began to disappear up its own back side.

It all depends on your point of view, your political views and what you like to read.

Personally I like the Guardian. I've been reading it since I was a student because they produce an excellent media section on Monday.

Maybe, but it should be spelt IndependEnt. You and many of your respondents do not appear to even read the Title.

There is no independant news paper. Each one has its own"editorial policy".They publish material that suits the policy.
