can't remember exactly how many weddings, oh, hmmm... 10? I'd say 8 of them are still together... the others divorced =(... w/in 10 years of the wedding... =(... one couple in particular were sweet hearts in high school... they are still together =) this is my favorite couple... if I had to look at a couple for the best advice... I would look at them for advice... I believe they were both virgins when they married as well!

I've lost track to how many weddings I've been to (20?) but I only know 5 that divorced. 1 was on and off a few times over the last 10 years and they finally made it official, 1 made it about 6-7 years, one lasted 3 years, 1 a year. Two of them got divorced and then remarried later and are still married today. Out of those, one made it 2-3 years, divorced and then 2 years later remarried (each other again). They have been remarried 8 years now. The other one made it 7-8 years, divorced, and remarried about 1 year later (to each other again). They're still married 3 years later.

I don't go to a lot of weddings, but here goes.
My sister married her husband in 1984, and they're still together, until death do they part I'm sure.
Two friends of mine married in 1984, but I've lost track of them, so I don't know if they're still married or not. They were both virgins when they married -- isn't that sweet?
I married my wife in 1986, and we're still together, most definitely until death do we part.
My best friend married around 1987, but they divorced after about 12 years.
My wife's niece and her husband got married about 10 years ago and they're still together.
I guess there was then about an 8-year wedding free period in my life. My nephew married about two years ago, and they're still together with a sweet little baby girl.
My niece's wedding was the last one I attended, and it was in May of this year. Needless to say, perhaps, they are still together.
So, out of 7 weddings, I don't know one, and there is only one divorce. Five out of six (known) success stories -- not bad, huh? That's 83% positive. I guess the moral of this story is, if you want to have a high chance of a long-lasting marriage, invite me to the wedding!

I have been to four other weddings. Two couples are still together, one is divorced, and I don't know the other couple well enough to tell you how that is going, but it has only been a year, so....
