hodge needs to b kicked out period. gilchrist needs to retire. messed up the keeping n hasnt done anything in the series with the bat. he gets bowled way to often for a good batter. the way things r going OZ will lose the next gamee too, esp. if hodge is selected again.

Whoa, Gilly, relax. Aussies are human. Wins and loses are common in a game.It was just not their day. Remember, the toss also didn't favour them. But still they lost by just 8 runs.Take heart. They will come back.
I agree with you about that bit about Hodge. Haddin came as a repalcement for Ponting.He proved his worth. So i think the selectors should have shown some sense. I don't know why they didn't select him. Is ponting afraid that he will be a potential threat?That Hodge looked like a stupid retard.
But Bracken had been quite economical except for that last over.It was he who got the wicket of Dravid.
So overall it was a very disappointing match.We can only hope they will do better next match and pray Hodge will get some injury so that he won't be selected again.

This is what happens when Australia are put under pressure, which they have never before experienced in this series till this match. They lost the match, which had full grip till 47th over and once Symonds was out the rest of the btsmen wilted under pressure, whereas India never lost their nerve even when they were facing defeat. It was a poor captaincy of Ricky Ponting not to give full, quota of 10 overs to Brett Lee, who was the most economical Australian bowler. Australia also conceded far too many extras.-
