would a 1989 caprice seats fit on a 1992 caprice?

Would the seats bolt right on??

My best guess would be no, it wouldnt bolt right on. The adjusters are differnt and the car is pretty much a completely different design.

All the sheet metal on the floor is years fit of 91-96. as far as the 92 style is concerned.

Although GM is known to change part numbers even though parts are the same.

As long as they will bolt to the glides under the seat, use the ones from your car and bolt them to the replacement seats and then bolt into your car.
