Cute barbers.

Barbers that will flirt appropriately with the guys.

Barbers who know how much or how little to talk. Some customers will just tell the barber "The regular," and not say another word until the haircut is over.

Barbers who understand what guys of various ages want in a haircut. A 40 year old guy who works in business probably just wants to blend in with his peers - he does not want to look stylish.

An appropriate collection of magazines.

A competitive price. A male haircut costs lots les than a female, and takes less time.

Good luck.

I want a barber shop - a new 1!!!! I have been to 3 shops over the last 2 years (yes that is a lot).

So here is what I want...

Consistency with the guy who does my hair.
Parking!!! Ample parking is a must!
Friendly - outgoing people
Something to do in the waiting area

Invest in some flat panel TVs and put on ESPN News, ESPN Classic, CNBC and other channels of interest. This will help when sitting around waiting for a cut.

The last barber I went to that I really liked (he retired) had a TV and was always yelling at it. It was a "barbershop" scene in the place. People went there and hung out. Nobody cared how long they waited.

Since, 1 place had a TV but it was usually soccer and it was in Italian. The barbers were not friendly.

Another had a large turnover of barbers. Had continuity. Very basic cuts, no straight edge.

Third, just poor cuts. I ask for half ear side burn, I got 1/4. The barbers do not talk to me (they do talk to each other).

1. what people are you trying to attrac to your place?

2.what does your barber shop consist of , more women or man ?

now in days people like the inside of a barber shop to have music playing and depending on the music you those are the ptype of people that you are goin to get.

always have a nice size tv so if you get people wating they just dont get bored or at the worse leave and loose money just because its a boring barber shop.

have the place smelling good as cleas as possbile dont have it looking like a mess .

always have drinks and chips for sale thats a plus .

try to hires people that knows how to cut all types of hair cut so if a customer wants a cut youll say yes !

try to hire good looking people thats a plus too

last but not least good luck and make lots of money and take good care of your people.

i said all this beacuse my freind owns a barber shop and its was a big hit thanks to all the things i name dont forget have flyers made and its good if you give them to people you know and have them spread the word for you and tell him to come check your place out

You Should Find the important factors of a good barber ! this is different in different cultures !

I think

Price
Quality
Time

are important fators ! If you want a good campaign for your shop, you should give us more informations & datas . Start your Job with low prices, it can help you to show your quality to your customers, try to publish some advertising papers, in your area & etc.

There was a really cool all-male barber shop in Gastonia, NC... They gave you a full treatment... hot lather shave with a straight razor, including your neck line, hot towels to open your pores, meticulous detailing to make sure every hair was in place. A haircut there was a half hour experience, but you really felt like you got your money's worth.

If I get a better haircut and the surroundings are clean and the waiting time is not too long and you sterilize your instruments that I can see it, and sometimes you have "specials," like bringing in someone to give me a free pedicure or something like that. Good luck.

I will try out your haircutting skills tomorrow at 9 o clock as long as you could provide a decent cup of tea and polish my shoes this Will swing it for me as my own hairdresser only does coffee.

a confident mature person. someones who likes to listen to mens drivel without looking like they are passing out from boredom. Men either want a woman in bed or as a potential bed mate. Unsual is the guy who can be friends with women.
