Calling her late at night, driving by her house doesn't it feel like that start of an episode of Cops?

No it doesn't and you know what, I am TIRED of hearing people talk badly about Garth Brooks, leave the man alone! People constantly talk badly about him when it is not called for, I understand that you may not like him, but you don't need to go on and on about it. He has some of the GREATEST songs out there!

He doesn't call HER. It is Dialing 6 numbers just to hang up the phone. He calls the FRIEND in the middle of the night just to hear HIM say everything's going to be all right. Although for most part I do agree that yeah it is creepy/stalker type of person.

I gotta say I agree with Country Girl. Brad Paisley's song Ticks is a lot spookier than GB's more than a memory.

very lovable. and humorous question. however from a grammatical point of view, it sounds like it incredibly is endorsing stalking, spiritually conversing, it is not stalking. enable's say i nonetheless love an ex boyfriend. i can sense love for him and mentally love him. yet we dont see one yet another, he wont seek advice from me or bypass to me. that doesnt replace what i think for him. i can sense however i want. i in basic terms wont worry him. And in the worldwide of Christians or maybe 12 step classes, they understand the word, "God is a gentleman-he won't bypass the place he's not invited."

I love it...it is just a song. Ticks sounds like a rapist saying that he wants to take a girl he just met in a BAR into the woods...that would scare the crap out of me!!

I actually loved this song! I'll admit it's really intense, but you can really feel the desperation from him.
