Being independent is a thing everyone has to go through or should be trying to do at the right stage of their life. There's nothing wrong though with asking for help with the people that brought you up from time to time though depending on the situation.

I'm hardly mummys little soldier but i'll always have respect and time for the women that brought me up over the women that uses my credit card.
