There is no advandage larger tires require more power to turn rase the body work higher into the air and gas milage will drop. My best reccomendation is buy a four wheel drive truck then preform the lift and bigger wheels and during the winter you can plow driveways to pay for the gallons of extra fuel you'll burn. I know that won't stop you from putting 34" tires on your truck. But because you don't get muddy I see no reason.

Your speedometer will not read right and your computer will have some problems because of the bigger tires. You may have some steering problems. The truck will have a higher center of gravity, so it will tend to roll over in an accident much more easily. So you should have a roll bar installed for safety. You won't be able to sell the vehicle as easily and you should check your local motor vehicle laws regarding any illegal modifications to vehicles. A certain class of potential girl friends may not like the image they present riding in your truck. They may prefer a convertible instead, which also has some safety problems. But your young, so enjoy!

The only real 'cons' is the cost of a kit and you will be raising the 'roll center' of the truck. It is worth the money to purchase an entire kit from one manufacturer. With larger, heavier tires (more rolling mass) it is usually worth while to upgrade the brakes also. Be sure and have the vehicle realigned after installing the lift kit as your steering geometry will have changed.
Have fun!

You can fit a 31X10.50 15 tire in there without rubbing.

If you get a 2" body lift - then you can go up to a 33X10.50 -15

I would go the 33" baja claws

They have the growl and look real aggressive
