...being a devoted fan of the Italian horror cinema, I must really recommend the notoriaous, infamous and oh-so-gawd-awful-it's-funny flesh-eating ghoul classic, "Hell of the Living Dead"...
...released stateside under the title, "Night of the Zombies", and elsewhere under the monikers, "Virus" and "Zombie Creeping Flesh", this hilariously stanky bloodletter was one of the first horror ventures from cult director Bruno Mattei, who in cashing in on George Romero's "Dawn of the Dead", credit the directorial efforts to the alternate name, Vincent Dawn...
...but the "Dawn of the Dead" similarities don't stop there, no siree, Bob!!! A crack (...and for some, cracked) team of rebel law enforcement commandos, take out a terrorist group, who are speaking out and holdong hostages, because of some supposed experiments being conducted in a secret facility, in an attempt to decrease overpopulation...
...proceeding next, on a mission bound for the secret facility, located in New Guinea, the rebel team reluctantly take into tow, a feisty and determined female reporter and her camera man, who are also in New Guinea, investigating rumoured reports of the facility experiments...
...least to say, things as the faciltiy get out of hand, and a gas is released, causing anyone who breathes it, to become one of the flesh-eating undead; by the time the commandos and the reporter get to the area, the island is infested with zombies...
...of course, in filming all of this, director Mattei was only able to get about 60 or 70 minutes of footage; so, to meet a much more amiable running time of slightly less than 90 minutes, he padded out the extra time with stock National Geographic footage of animals and natives...
...funny thing about this film; once you sit through this gut-bustingly funny atrocity, you might just have certain de-ja-vue feelings about the plot...about ideas that bare an all-too similar resemblance to a more recent zombie shocker...oh, say perhaps, "Resident Evil"!!!
...anyways, check it out below; you won't be disappointed!!!

Savage Weekend - This is a really odd one and ran on cable for years back in the early 80's. It was just released on one of those movie packs of 50 movies for $20 but it is a stinker.
A group of people go up to a cabin in the woods and run into a killer (who we see in the opening scene so there is NO suspense at all) and they all pretty much wind up dead.
The acting is ridiculous and poor, the boom mikes literally hang in the faces of the actors during several of the scenes. It has a very homophobic theme and contains a lot of S&M scenes along with a large amount of skin. It's not a porno or anything but it's definitely a warped film. The "special" effects are truly special and overall it's a very poor movie. Definitely one for the so bad that they are funny list.
If you want a really OLD one that will have you howling in pain, the worst movie of all time had to be the Beast of Yucca Flatts! That one is truly an original piece of garbage that I can barely believe was actually made!
There is no dialog because they didn't record any and the director actually reads the plot to you the whole time. It's awful and outranks Plan 9 From Outer Space as one of the worst movies of all time!! This one will have you dying that it was actually put out! Pitiful yet hilarious at the same time and it wasn't even played up for laughs, it just turned out that bad! Unbelievable really!

"Dead Alive". (Also found under the name "Brain Dead") It's a classic. It's so cheesy and hilarious. The thing is, it's actually supposed to be cheesy, so maybe it would be better described as "brilliant", rather than "bad". lol.
Interesting note: The director is Peter Jackson, the same director who did "Lord of the Rings."
