Rafael Benitez's rotation policy includes making numerous changes to each side after every game. His theory is that with enough rest, the team as a whole will stay strong and consistent throughout the course of the season, which is expected to be a gruelling one for Liverpool. But this policy means that players cannot gel with their teammates and produce fluent and effective football, hence their stuttering form so far.

He has an idea that by using his full squad though out the season that everything will work out better and the team will saty stronger for the duration. Wenger and Ferguson do this by changing in a lot of younger players during League and FA cup competitions.

Rafa doesn't really understand it himself. But it sems to consist of resting players when they are really needed. Seems a little strange to say the least.
