i was told that the sydney harbour bridge was held up by 4 bolts is that true?

No - it's 6 million rivets

"The total weight of the bridge is 52,800 tonnes, and six million hand-driven rivets hold the bridge together.
The largest one weighing 3.5 kilos.

The rivets were made at the Park Bridge Ironworks in Lancashire England."

NO it is NOT true.
It is held up by SIX bolts.


It is also for sale. But nobody has offered enough money for it yet. Last time we heard, Bill Gates was interested. It would go well for the entrance feature for his driveway.

I thik you might mean the Pylons there are 4 of them,but they alone do not hold up our bridge....
