For example, there will be 6 families living in the 2 hectre lot and also, if there is still land left, there will be a golf course. Would that be a good place? Would that place be big enough for the 6 families all related with each other to live in comfortably?

2 hectare is more than enough, just imagine give each family a 1000 square meter each, you will only be utilising 6000 square meter you will still have 1.4 hectare of vacant lot, say you use around 2000 square meter for a recreational park
plus around 1000 square meter of roadway in the property
you will still have 1 hectare left. But to have a golf course? no way, you need around 10 to 15 hectare for a golf course.

Two hectares is more than enough for large homes for six families, but not be enough to add a gold course. Even a miniature golf course needs about .2 hectare. A real golf course would probably not fit on the entire parcel. You may be able to build a 2-3 hole course among the houses.

It certainly would be in the UK. They try to get something like 30 new homes to a hectare here. Not sure that your 2 will be big enough for 6 families and a golf course, though!

Ideally, I think you want to aim for about 20 acres (8 Ha) if you can. That will give enough space to do want you want now and in the future, yet still retain a bit of privacy. Also, it obviously depends on the circumstances and surroundings 2 Ha would be a lot in Central London, but very little on the Russian Steppes.
