Nope. You need corpis delicti..... at least thats what the DA says........ corpis delicti.... sounds like an Italian dish doesnt it? " I had corpis delicti with a side of marinade". Or even a bad rash. "I had corpis delicti from an infection." Corpis delicti brother. Gotta have it. Or the DA wont do anything. In fact you could walk right into my police department, tell me you just buried an unknown person after hacking him up with an axe, and if I dont know who the victim is, cant prove he is missing under suspicious circumstances and I dont have a body...... huh.. enjoy your night.

As common sense would dictate to us, absolutely not. You have no proof or evidence therefore you cannot press charges on the person.

Because the law relies on proof of evidence, body of evidence, that sort of thing. They will start from there, without anything to back them up, then the police wouldn't have something to rely on. Common sense, isn't it? The law relies also on general knowledge we do everyday. Example how would you cook your food if you donot have fire? Unless you eat them raw then there is no problem but we are not in the pre-historic times anymore where men use bow and arrows to hunt food and eat them while bloody and raw.

Sure. Does Duke Lacrosse ring a bell. You can always press charges, but the case may not make it very far without any evidence or witnesses.

First of all it depends upon what kinda charges are being used against you. In a civil law case the winning depends upon the balance of probability (who is telling the truth) and in the criminal law cases the case depends upon the establishment of "beyond any reasonable doubt". Its very hard to win a case without having any proof or evidence, the chances of winning is less than 0.1%

nicely, in the event that they attempt to document it, they are going to wish a narrative. If the police run the registration, they're going to locate him, yet that does no longer mean too plenty. i won't be able to make certain an enterprise dealing with with something with out chatting with you, and that i doubt in addition they are going to bypass that a ways. except they concoct some tale approximately him leaving it with them and you taking it. or perhaps which will sound fishy. of direction, the call on the call does no longer mean plenty. human beings can sell autos, and jointly as they're meant to offer call, purely with the aid of fact they did no longer does no longer mean this is not any longer bought. And he went farther and signed it. and human beings in penitentiary get little or no attention whilst they whinge of this variety of factor. the full factor will sound so fantastic and intensely like dissimilar bogus comments that are made, that this is actual no longer likely something will initiate with out you understanding it. Their lawyer has no longer something to assert approximately criminal fees. they're attempting to buffalo you. those motor vehicle disputes arise all of the time. typical regulation enforcement reaction in all yet sparkling thefts, is to tell the reporting social gathering that's a civil dispute. companies are very leery of reducing warrants or entering autos as stolen without competent case.
