1- Make a Paypal account.
2- If you don't make a Paypal account, then contact the seller telling them that you misread or didn't see you had to pay with paypal only.

Some sellers are different then others, but it's best to tell them as soon as possible if you already bid!

Sign up for a paypal account. Then let the people you are buying from know that you just recently created your account and you have transferred funds and are waiting on them to clear. (Max wait time would be 5 days... they have a chart to tell you when the funds should clear based on the day of the week they were transferred.) Apologize for the delay, and give them the chance to back out if need be. They should be understanding about it. Most people give you a few days to make the payment anyway. In the meantime, being outbid this time might not be such a bad thing. Good luck!

Whoops, I think you're going to have to sign up for a Paypal account. It may be handy for other things though, some websites will let you pay for goods through Paypal and it makes paying over the internet much easier.

Alternatively you will have to tell the seller that you made a mistake. They might just be nice and cancel the transaction for you.

Good luck.

Sign up for PayPal, it only takes two ticks. You'll have a £500 spend/receive limit until you verify your account properly. You should put in your bank debit details, that way PayPal will draw funds direct from your bank just as if you had used your debit card in a shop, and payment will be instant as far as the seller is concerned.
