It is a lot drier and cost of living is not as high. People are more western in their attitudes since it is more rural.

I believe Idaho is cheaper than Washington. It is great there and not crowded yet.

My son visited Washington two years ago.By all accounts anywhere is better than Washington.......well..... maybe not Schenectady.
