I haven't had my period for 2 months already, I'm a virgin, I have no boyfriend and go to an all girls school so there's no way I can even get near a boy. I went to a doctor already but she said it's fine and it is entirely normal. I've been exercising a lot recently so does that have anything to do with it?

It's probably fine and entirely normal like the doctor said!

How old are you? You say you're at school so I would guess a teen, in which case it is perfectly normal to skip a period or two, sometimes even more! Teens are often irregular. Also yeah exercise and stress and other factors can make a difference. Doctors usually only worry when it's been more than 6 months. And if you're not pregnant then you don't need to worry.

it is normal to skip a period or 2 for a school girl, as your hormons haven't setteled yet :) since the doctor told you nothing's wrong, then you shouldn't worry about it, especially that you have done anything wrong :)
exercising would have some affect on it if you're exercising too hard, maybe you should consult the exercising expert at the gym you play at, s/he could give you some advise about what to do and not to do ;)

Yes, intense exercise or if you haven't been very exercise type and you begin doing it intense, they can stop your period, not only for 2 month, sometimes more.
Usually is worst if you are dieting to hard.
So as soon you body get adjust to this new training your period must come back, If it haven't come back, then go to your doctor again.
Have a ncie day!

this is entirely normal !! if u have not had ur period recently it is must likedly because u hav been excersisng more than usual and possibly not eating normally? or as much as you should considering the excersise!

if u hav just started ur periods then this is also very normal as ur body is getting used to it and it takes time for ur periods to come regularly every month

If you just recently started it, sometimes it can be sporadic. If you have had it for a while and you have been exercising more than usual, that can definitely cause you to miss one. It has happened to me a few times, usually when doing more intense military training.

It's hormonal imbalance my dear, it happens to many girls out there. Try checking with your doctor if what supplements he/she can give you. You can also try Evening Primrose Oil it helps! But make sure you're not allergic to certain Omega oils. Good luck! Stay calm!

If you have not had sex then you are a virgin. You might be having a little problem in starting your period since you're young. Don't worry. You'll get regular as you get older.
