I think should be an interesting question. My personal opinion is that the purpose of everything, is to die? I'm not trying to be morbid or anything, but when i look at this question analytically, death seems to be every living things only constant in life? What do you all think of this view? And let me in on your own?

You are looking at the natural process of biology. Natural processes do not give meaning. Snow storms do not give meaning to snowflakes and evolution does not give meaning to humans. So neither living nor dying nor survival nor reproduction nor any other biological function are meanings.

Meanings imply purpose. We get meaning when we live for a real purpose. Real purpose implies God.

"Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell

The purpose of everything is not to die,It is true that we are all born to die but what you do in between is and can be a joy or unhappiness. We all share in happy times and sad times but unfortunatly that is life.To be born is a gift so you must use it wisely. To die is a part of living and there is nothing that you can do about it.Just live a good life the best way you can and then when you die you will know that you have had a satisified life.

Interesting.... but not unheard of.....

Death is inevitable. It is the single and most surest fate for all of us. It is the end of our life here on Earth. It is this fact about death that binds us all together. Whether you are rich or poor. Powerful or underdogs. You know that death comes when it comes.

But they say that death is a great evil. Like a great darkness creeping in to our very souls. But could it be a great new beginning? Who knows..... maybe.... maybe......

But would you really be satisfied to know that you exist and that existing alone could make a difference?

All these questions, all these doubts, all these fears, all these worries, ALL THESE...... What purpose does all of these serves? Are all of life's greatest mysteries.... could be..... nothing but plain universal random? Are these just mere coincidences that happen for no reason?

Life must surely mean something.....

A meaning that none has yet perfected in words.....

Not even the greatest philosophers of ancient times.....

Nor the people of today who reads their works at home or anywhere on the globe..... Those writings that seem to address us, as if they knew that future generations would one day take a hold of 'em.... And future generations did.... And even studied them and called them masterpieces.... But never have they truly perfected their answers...... For even Science couldn't explain the mystery of God.....

For me the meaning of life is to love and be loved. I agree that death is the only constant in life, but how do we prepare ourselves to die seems to me to be the big question then. To do the best I can in life within the limits I have according to my faith gives meaning to my life.

I think if we learned to grasp this idea and realize that death "truly" is the only guarnteed thing we have to look forward to, I think that we defnately try to cosume ourselves living it like it is our last day, but instead we preoccupy our time living by trivial measures of what we think others want us to be; instead of being who we truly are. I read that at least 90% of the population die with their dreams.

i think thinking that we will die is the result believing in the theory of evolutionism, of Dawin. Satan gave him this idea actually, and satan had the purpose to determine people to give up the faith in God..and obvioulsy those who believe in evolutionism could believe that they will rather die then go to heaven..although even Freud who was an evolutionist..considered that the people will never believe that they will die..But this is not due to Freud is due to God..who gave us the mind..the mind being something superior to a human theory.
all the science acctully by its theorie4s..tells us that we will die..that there is no heaven..but don't worry..because there always will be free country in the world who il say that there is a heaven..even if in the same country ,,the scince is developed to the level that you a sent to a psychologist, and this act tells us that we are unable to think..and that the psychologist are kind of gods..when actually none of them can control his future and his reactions..becauyse we are all humans not gods..

That is interesting. I (somehow) learned as a young adult, that we all live to die.Which is to say that 100% of all living things, die. Its not dark or morbid, its reality.

I don't think death is the meaning of life. Unquestionably it is the end result. For me, the meaning of life is to live well.

for me the life will be more meaningful if we help those who is in need. For example the children in the war or the donate the our organ to other people who need it after we die.
