My View:

God is as good as our parents. If we don’t ask him, who else we are going ask.

Many have the guilty feeling that god might mistake them if they keep asking him materialistic things. Always pray “God you give me what is best for me”. However in the worst situations we can’t stop ourselves. We go and ask him.

According to me, if you treat god like your father or mother, you will demand everything from him. You will not hesitate to ask.

Many philosophies say that it is your ego which stops you asking? If you really trust him, if you love him like your parents, you will go and fight with him, demand him what you want.

Trust him fully. Even if you have little bit doubt in your mind you won’t give. So from today friends go and ask him loudly what you want. Trust me he would give you.

Don’t forget to star if you like this question ... Hey this is only a reminder. I am not demanding. Don't star ... if you don't like it

Firstly Your question is really interesting and you deserve more then just 1 star.
Secondly I totally agree with you. God is the most powerful and no one loves us more then he does, the one who is our creater, although I believe his love to us should be more then the love of our parents. We compare it's love to parental love cause our mind cannot imagine any stronger love like that!
Yes, God is always there for us and if you want him to give you 1000s of demands he'll give you, if you ask him with a pure heart!
PS Sorry for my English

I often ask God for a lot of things.............good health for my parents, siblings & all my loved ones.....then somehow it always happens that I end up saying,"God infact keep all living beings happy/safe/healthy...as long as u feel they deserve it." Finally after all this the line that follows, "God keep all the females happy atleast....if I can take up any punishment on anyone's behalf...U know I am always ready to do so. Bye for now & will surely be meeting U someday....guess U know that too."

Your philosophy is so very close to an Islamic concept: By asking God for what you want, you demonstrate your faith in him. You show that you believe he is all mighty and can do any thing. You show that you believe he is generous and doesn’t bother him to listen and give you what you want, even better than what you ask!. It just that instead of treating him as one of your parents, Muslims believe that if you became a good son/ daughter to your parent he’ll give higher priority to answer your prayer/ requests.

u r right. god is our father but some times he dosent give us what we need as he knows whats best for us. even if we demand to him he will still not give it to us unless he feels its the best and the most needed thing for us, his children. god is our invisible god and our parents r said to be visible god and so he sent our parents out to us to lead us through lives as he cant because he is invisible but anyone who believs, trusts and loves god will have fear for him and obey him and at the same time ask him(not demand him) of what we want or need. i feel that we r demanding of our parents as we have no fear of the and see them as a piece of cake and ignore them. is my view correct?

It never hurts to ask, but just like any parent God will say "no" sometimes. Only He knows the true desires of our hearts. Instead of asking for material things we should ask Him for the things that He knows that we desire.

In my point of view, you should not ask any thing from god, if you deserev some thing and if you are working hard for the same then you will get that and god will make it easy for you to get it but if you dont dersve it then no gid will help you get that

I am a Buddhist... My notions of prayer are a bit different than this wish-granting machine that you have described... I do NOT look for solutions outside of myself...

You're right, God wants us to ask him for things in our life.
