Giuliani is ranked 4th or 5th place based on YouTube/FaceBook, etc. Then Ron Paul, who I've never heard of is easily the leading candidate by the "internet view" (see techPresident.com).

I saw Ron Paul on YouTube today and while I was impressed by his video, I was a lot more impressed that he could get to be such a big name on the internet and be considered only a "fringe candidate" by the general news media. But, then I saw Giuliani as only in 4th/5th and really wonered what was going on.

Because You Tube/Facebook are not random samplings of the population. They are a very precise demographic. Usually teenagers or early 20s, they are usually middle class or upper middle class (you'll find fewer working class people have webcams and PC to upload videos). They're usually pampered (spoiled) and have poor understanding of the US political system.

I like Ron Paul he has addressed this issue of imperialistic agenda and the consequences. A large majority of Americans are committed to being victims of the “big bad Saddam hatchet man”. If that ideology crumbles they’ll be left with a reality they just can't face. It will mean asking hard questions like why 70% of Iraq is without power or fresh water while we sell this democracy at gunpoint. Why this is happening after billions of dollars and numerous goverment contracts. Why is Blackwater accused of killing civilians suddenly in need of military escorts and can’t be trusted.

He is ranked where he is because many Americans have pulled their head out of the idealistic sand and many firemen know he gave the call to early. I don’t want Hillary but I’d take her over Rudy, in fact I’d trade a left nut before I’d let him become president.

We are good as dead if we keep pushing the Bush agenda.

The Russians have leveraged with Iran and China has leveraged with Iran. They have signed oil deals and the politics of Bush have made the politics of Iran seem relevant. When they talk of experience they miss the point. It’s not meeting that is a problems it’s making stupid decisions that make the problem and this President has done that.

Unfortunately for Ron Paul most of those on YouTube/FaceBook will not vote. However, all the others may. As much as Ron Paul is the best candidate we have seen since Reagan, he will be lucky if he receives more than 10% of the vote in any primary.
Just goes to show us how really "hip" the American voter really is.

Ron paul is a deluded moron. He's got no chance of winning. And it would be a disaster if he did. He is the choice of anarchist hippies who spend their time reading conspiracy theories and posting on YouTube. That is it.

Interesting that you claimed that youve never heard of Ron Paul and then also claimed you listened to him on YouTube.

Sucks to get caught in your own lie huh? Nice try ; )
