this is the first picture of the two taken from space... taken by Voyager as it left the Earth-Moon system and looked back....

the one by Galileo is wonderful!... but you can see that if the Earth was in front, it would cover up the Moon....

If you are looking at the earth and the moon is directly behind it,

i.e., you------earth------moon

then you would see absolutely no change. Because the moon is so small compared to the earth, it just hides behind it. The light replecting off of it would also be too dim to see any effect, such as the halo one we see in a lunar eclipse, to be visible.

Sorry to burst ure bubble dude....but on a lighter note, lunar eclipses are spectacular! :)

There are many pictures of the Earth from the moon. You can find many on the NASA website for free.

The earth is round as shown via satellite from the outer space.
