I would like the acceptance of those who I , in the first place, accept, love and admire.

Yes especially if the acceptance should come from the people who mean a lot to me. I have to admire the people who can always march to the beat of their own drum and dance to a different music, but it is not exactly my style since I value the opinion of other people. I refuse to be so self-centered as to ignore them completely, especially if it is within my power to make us get along well, and if I would not be losing my self respect and dignity to bend a little if I should need it to be accepted. Just my honest opinion.

It is, but being true to myself is even more important. Having others like me, or think highly of me means a lot, but I don't tailor my words, actions, likes or dislikes with acceptance in mind.

I know I'm a good person...smart, honest, friendly, loyal to my friends, etc., and if what I say, do or think doesn't sit well with someone, then $cr€w 'em.

Only the acceptance of those important to me (including myself) is what matters to me.

Acceptance of myself is more important, but I haven't achieved that either.

no. I would rather be a complete outkast than lie to myself everyday pretending to be someone I'm not just to get accepted by other people. Besides if they don't like you for you they aren't worth your time.

Yes for me it is.

However take note, sometimes others might not like you. or lets say we cant please others.

So if you encounter a problem in which you feel that your not accepted, think about it.

if you can move on without their help then, theres no worry, if they dont want you then you dont want them as well. anyway as what i have said you can lived without them.

but if ever you need their presence because you need to survive then do your best to be accepted by them.

No, acceptance does not make me who I am.
