No but my mom told me the story about why she always checked my candy. Her neighbors son when trick or treating and back then [Like the 70s] people usually trusted everyone so the kid jsut ate the candy and turns out there was a needle in a tootsie roll...He ate it and he died...It was so sad...Why would a person do such a thing to a little kid

yes. several times! parents should carefully inspect the candy before it is consumed. The most dangerous is the razor blades in the apples & stuff. Personally, i'd stay home!

I never have, but I did put a rock in someone's halloween sack after seeing Charlie Brown's Halloween Special. It's okay, he was a friend and he noticed it almost right away, so no one was hurt.

Only calories. LOL
We were warned years ago (1960s, 1970s) about razors, needles, and drugs in the candy, but we never got anything like that.
