and they said you can get within 2 weeks but no result till now. What should I do in this case ?

For Passport renewal / new passport in India under any scheme, police verification is must. Under Tatkal scheme, the passport verification documents are directly sent to SP office and SP office directly verifies the person. It is not sent to the local police station for verification to expedite the case. I have got my wife's passport under Tatkal scheme before a couple of years and that time it took total of a week including police verification. I had some contacts though them I am following up her passport and when it reached SP office, once again through some contacts in local journalists I expedited the case and it was done in less than 24 hours. I did this because I was in hurry for some personal reasons, even otherwise, it would have taken 2-3 more days. Now days it take much lesser time, I don't have any experience with the current process since they outsource the passport process. But I have only heard good about that.

Delay because of postal strike.
ALso if they say 2 weeks that normally means 2 months.......Simple Indian mentality.
what the hell is TATKAL scheme anyway ?
