I am 19 years old and just had a hip replacement because my doctor had me take steroids to fix a liver problem and the steroids caused blood to stop flowing to my hip. Now I can no longer do some of the things I love, such as playing softball and volleyball. My liver problem is resolved, but now I will have to have multiple surgeries in my life since the implants only last about 15 to 20 years and I am so young. I constantly wish I would have never taken the steroids, because I could have played college sports, and now I am stuck on the sidelines, not to mention I will never run again...or do many things normal kids get to do.

I try to think about the fun part of life; not the difficult part;)
Of course one day I'll have to face the difficulties. But I'm just going to get over them one by one when they come.
