everytime the girl got something sexy looking, the woman, in her 50's would yell out,"Girl you wear this, and you're husband will never leave you. The older guest thought it was funny, but some of the younger, less experienced girls was embarassed by her outbursts. The older woman, who happens to be bisexual, just couldn't seem to restrain herself. By the way, she lost her own husband in death. What are your thoughts?

would it have been more acceptable if those comments were made by one of the younger guests? I dont have a problem with what she did. Good on her....she probably feels 19 herself. Age is only a number and when you get to 50 yourself you will understand exactly what I am talking about You have a perception of how a 50 year old should be....we all do when we are young. But when you reach 50, you realise you couldnt have been more wrong by your assumptions when you were in your 20's,

Thoughts? OK. I think this isn't any kind of problem. Perhaps too much punch was served at the party. Unless of course this woman was or is a lover of the bride. This just sounds like a woman having fun and acting silly.

probable not as rude as a number of the others, yet it incredibly dissatisfied the bride and that i'd be very indignant if somebody does this at my wedding ceremony. The ceremony grew to become into close relatives in basic terms, so lots of the travellers have been in basic terms invited to the reception. the marriage grew to become into organised at very short be conscious, so not precisely what the couple needed, yet they did an spectacular interest. besides, a guy that we artwork with grew to become up area way in the direction of the reception in a t-shirt and ripped denims. He looked like he'd in basic terms rolled away from mattress. He helped himself to a pair nutrients and a pair of unfastened beverages and then left. The bride grew to become into incredibly dissatisfied and indignant by skill of it, it fairly is why it bothers me lots.

A launderie party? Is that like a foam party or something?

I guess you meant a lingerie party, I don't think many guys would get turned on by seeing their spouse wearing clothes from the washbasket.

A 50 year old woman joyfully and playfully expresses herself and that is going berserk?

I think that there isn't a story here to comment on other than your choice of words.

It sounds like the older lady was enjoying herself and having fun. If you give a woman lingerie for a wedding, we all know what it is for. Why act as if it isn't? Loosen up and enjoy life!

It was a party, it sounds like she was having a good time, that's all. Next time it comes up (if it comes up again), if you're embarrassed, have another drink and try to top the dirty old lady. If others are embarrassed, help them lighten up a bit.

what the hell does it matter if she's bisexual and a widow? someone should have pulled her aside, and talked to her quietly. i can't picture an entire group of women silently opening gifts, and one of them just screaming at the top of her lungs. so what? obviously it's over with. just don't invite her next time if you feel "embarrassed" by her behavior. better yet, don't go yourself.

BTW, why is a guy (i'm assuming, Robert) going to a lingerie (proper spelling) for a young woman?

At least it wasnt the bride to be going nuts. (no pun intended). Let the gal have some fun, its her way of coping.

What is there to think about? She was just getting into the party spirit. Young people can be so prudish.
