The use of the "N" word is causing a lot of friction between blacks & whites. Whites have been using the "N" word since slavery. This N word were used by slave owner/masters/overseers and etc to curse / degrade and insult slaves and to make them feel inferior about themselves. Slaves did not like it then and as of today black people still do not like it. It's causes flashbacks of what their forefathers had to deal with. White people can't seem to understand that. Seems as though they want to follow in the same footsteps of their forefathers that was masters. If black people do not want white people to call them the "N" word , they should respect that. There is no doubt that they used the "N" word among themselve. That's their business. Black people can use the "N" word among themselves but it is not for hatred, or dislike or a put down for them. It's called a black thing/slang. Why is it so important for white people to pick up where their forefathers left off when they know that the "N" word meant hate, hanging, beatings, and degrading. So just because a black person use that "N" word that do not make it right for a white person to use it freely around blacks. They respect the Jews of the holocaust they went thru, but not the blacks.
