is it a bad thing to hide masterbating from your parents?

Nope, masturbation is normal and healthy. Almost everybody does it, not only weird people and not only druggies etc.
Best to hide it, but don't be stressed if they discover that you do it. It's generally done in private. Obviously you shouldn't do it in front of them, but if they somehow figure out that you're doing it, no biggie. They probably expect it, and they probably do it too.

Its interesting that you clump together such a horrible thing as drugs into a category with masturbation.
Masturbation is one of the first ways you can get to know what your body can feel sexually and its very healthy and EVERYONE does it. You're definitely not "weird", you're just growing up and doing what humans do. If you're judging yourself for taking part in it, you need to be able to start making yourself comfortable to be in your own skin.
I know it sounds corny but, no one can love you as much as you can love yourself. :)
As far as hiding it from your parents, it depends on how you feel about your new sexuality and also on your relationship with your mom and dad. I'm super-close with my mom but even then if I asked a question pertaining to masturbation it was always in third party reference and very general. If your parents know you at all, they'll start to figure it out after a while.
If you feel nervous, why not approach them and ask them how they feel about it? You'll never really know until you ask.

Nearly everyone masturbates at one time or another. It's not bad to hide it from your parents, but don't go out of your way to hide it or anything of that sort.

And yes u have to hide it from parents....not because its bad but for decency reasons.

It's normal and healthy. I would be worried if I thought a young person wasn't masturbating. It is the way you learn about your body. Young boys also have wet dreams too, so if that happens don't worry about it.

no, i used to masterbate but then i found it disturbing. but it's your own opinion if you like the feeling then go for it

i wouldn't call it "hiding" it from your parents.. just a private thing for only you. (plus I doubt they want to know)
