This morning I closed my eyes as I came through my kitchen,
and I don't plan to open them until late tonight or early tomorrow, because as of this answer, It is decorated in sunday's dirty dinner dishes, and I have a dish washer!!!. Now I need someone to load it for me. Lol, lol, lol,
When It's clean you can see the maple hard wood cabinetry, and stainless steel sinks and appliances, with black accents. The curtains are lace valances hung back to back to form peaks in the center.All the towels, pot holders, table coverings, mats and chair pads are done in various matching earth tones. I like it a lot.
Every one says it feels really warm and inviting.

I have a coffee themed kitchen and it has cost quite a bit to decorate, but I like it.

I personally like the Italian feel to the kitchen or a French cafe feel. But If I had to chose a fruit it would definately be apples. It is a very homey fruit when you think about it becuase of apple pies! I always think of my grandmother and it is a comforting theme. But if you change your mind about a fruit themed kitchen, go Italian, or French. They are fun themes. With the Italian theme you can still have fruits...grapes and wine bottles!!! My favorite.

Hand painted black and white check squares on the floor. All the cabinets were sanded down to base and five coats of white enamel, like glass with poly. Off white walls with a cove trim and acoustic ceiling with two ceiling fans. Walls covered with memorabilia of past of Pict's. I blew up of early days when we were kids. nostalgic thingies.
Glass doors slide onto garden and deck area with covered patio, very private. One bathroom off kitchen with jacuzzi tub, ceramic bath.

I have a new kitchen.
All Black and White.
Black furniture. White cabinets.
Black and White Checked floor.
I painted all the frames black for the pictures
that are full of reds, greens, yellows, blues.
It looks awesome!!

my kitchen is blue and white with pretty tile floor. the walls are white accented with blue. i have a few splashes of color here and there. my friend is studying to be an interior designer. she did a great job on it. i love my kitchen. now i just have to learn how to cook.

It has white walls and a yellow focal wall. There are chicken/pig/cow little knick knacks. Appliances are red. Cabinets are white. Furniture (table, hutch, etc) are antiques.

Lot's and lots of canned peppers. I'm tired. But....it's totally pine with with beams. The whole house is inside.
