Does anyone know if it's worth it to do a PhD in counselling psychology?

Depends on you. Understand that the truth behind counselling goes extremely deep, right down deeper then religion itself. For you to take this path and have an impact you need to realize that. That aside it always comes down to YOUR purpose in life, if these can fulfill it, then you'd be a fool not to do it. If its just sounds like a good idea, drop it..... also it takes ALOT of sacrifice to make it to that step, I gave up on mine, WAY to much bowing down, WAY to much comfroming, and WAY to much bs. To me I can make just as equal an impact in my life using the knowledge I've already learned in my own life, now back to work! ;)
