Drop the in a glass of soda pop, the bubbles will ticklle like crazy and I'm sure they will be wide awake then :).

Ok, next time try taking some rock pop and just as the ice is about to freeze, crack the casing, put in the rock pop under the cubes and then refreeze after leaving out long enough to get them sweating so the rock pop will get into the ice. this will be wild when popped into water and it starts cracking and sizzling. :) try it out :)-Rachel.
