I've accidently kicked a hole in my lounge door, how do I repair it?

Yes I have a son who accidentally did this too!!
I used polycell wood filler, fine sandpaper then gloss paint.
If it is a hollow door you can stuff a bit of wet newspaper in to hold the filler so it does not drop down into the gap.
If its a big hole you can get panels to glue onto the door.or use hardboard with beading round then paint it.

Temper-Temper :) Using a utility knife cut just around the hole to make it squared-ish then cut a piece of wood the same width but 4 inches longer then the hole . Start a wood screw in the center for a Handel, put wood glue on the long ends and slide it inside the hole and hold in place with the screw, when the glue dries fill to level with wood filler and sand flush,,, stain to match
