I want to know how many registrars of marriage (Government marriage registration centre) situated in Ahemdabad, address and telephone nos. of all these marriage registration offices of Ahemdabad.
Whether marriage certificate issued by any of these offices is valid for submission to US Consulate for obtaining spouse US visa?

The marriage officer to perform any marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 or marriage registrar to register any marriage preformed under any other form of marriage is available in each & every district of the city/State. Usually the D.C. of the district has been assigned the powers of the Marriage officer under the Special Marriage Act to perform & register marriage. The Tehsildar of the district has been assigned the power to register the Marriage under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. The very fact what form of marriage you want to under go is the question, if you want marriage to be preformed under the Special Marriage Act then you should check with the D.C. office of the district where you reside for at least one month for its details, but if you want to only register your already preformed marriage under the Hindu marriage Act then check with the tehsildar office of your district where such marriage was preformed. Yes for all purpose the marriage certificate issued by any of this marriage officer/registrar are only valid & are actually recognized by the US Consulate/Embassy.
