Who answers a question KNOWING that it must be the most clever answer. . . . . .only to be passed over once again? The rejection just goes on and on. GEE WHIZ.

It happens to me all the time. I thought I was batting 1.000 only to be waaaaaaaaay at the bottom of the realm....you know, down here with all the whale poop.

Sometimes I just give up trying to be clever and just earn the 2 points. That has worked for me a few times.

Yeah that bothers me but what REALLY annoys me is when I happen to go back and check the question that's been resolved and I didn't get best answer is the answer that was picked was completely stupid and pointless and didn't give enough info. And here I am with my sources and nice thought out answer. Geeze.

I never make up very clever answers so mine are usually just passed over.

Actually I never think about it to be honest. I just answer the question the best way I know how and that's it. Don't worry about if yours is best or not, then if you get voted as a best answer it will be a nice surprise, won't it.

No it has no meaning to me what so ever i use yahoo answers to help people if i can and don't really care about points this site is for people looking for answers on issues they have and i will give them a possible answer if i can and point who cares if you have helped some help is more important than brownie points my dear Dave

Sometimes ppl are not looking for clever answers. Sometimes they want funny answers, simple answers, short answers ect. . .
I'm sure you're not the only one, but I don't think you should make a case out of it.

I don't pick people just because they are my contacts I pick who ever gives the funniest or best answer sometimes it's really hard to choose just 1
