Can anybody assist me on the step-by-step process of getting a VIsa for Taiwan? How long would it take to process? How much per person?

There is a one-China policy so the Philippines does not host a Taiwan Embassy. However, there is "trade office" that functions like an embassy:

Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines
Address 41F, Tower 1, RCBC Plaza, 6819 Ayala Avenue, Makati City 1200, Metro Manila, Philippines

Phone (63-2) 8876688
Fax (63-2) 8877679

Hours of operation Monday ~ Friday,
08:45~11:30(Receiving time)
13:30~16:30(Dispatching time)
Closed on Taiwan and Philippine Public Holidays

Points to consider when applying for a visa:

Make sure you have another piece if ID that you can leave with the security guard at the entrance of the consulate
Bring your ticket or itinerary showing your departure out of Taiwan.
Make sure your attire is presentable, no shorts, torn clothes, sandals etc.
Usual service is 3 business days and express is 1 business day. Note: this is after the application has been received. So in fact you drop off one day and can pick it up the next day.
Application fee is 1950 pesos - Rush service 1000 pesos
You must bring 2 passport photos with your application (there is a passport photo shop near the consulate.
Bring your ticket or itinerary showing your departure out of Taiwan.
You will need an employment authorization from the Council of Affairs if you are applying for a resident visa in order to get an ARC.
If you are applying for a tourist visa you will need proof of financial support such as a bank account statement showing sufficient funds.

you may get an extension on the Philippines Embassy the place you reside OR once you come right here you get an automated 21 day visa Then bypass to ANY Philippines Bureau of Immigration till now your visa expires. Take your passport, copies of the documents web site, arrival web site, plane fee ticket showing date of return, a community chum & approximately 5,000 pesos. the 1st extension would be for 38 days making a entire of fifty 9 days. boost returned till now the time is up for added fifty 9 days. you do no longer would desire to coach any economic well worth. each thing would be achieved in a million day. you will locate greater approximately this at "Bureau of Immigration.gov.ph" the actual internet web site.
