This question is barely comprehensible, but I'll take a stab at it:

1. It's spelled Clemens. He's been around for a while.

2. That's a myth about 1986. John McNamara claims Clemens asked to be removed during Game 6. Clemens denies it. Well, we also know that McNamara chose to keep a half-crippled Bill Buckner on the field at the end just because he wanted him to be on the field to celebrate, rather than replace him with Dave Stapleton like he'd been doing most of the year. We all know how that went. So who do you believe? Does it seems to you like McNamara was making good decisions that night?

3. The Red Sox didn't make the playoffs in 1991. You're referring to 1990, when Clemens was ejected vs. Oakland. Ok, that was stupid. He should have kept his composure better. But get your facts right.

4. Professional athletes don't fake injuries. They want to play. They always want to play. That's what makes them great. It's the drive within them that made them good enough to get to that level in the first place. And you're talking about the great pitcher who ever lived possibly quitting in what could be the last appearance of his legendary career? Preposterous. Roger Clemens is 45 years old. He was hurt. End of story.

Oh, and I'm a Boston Red Sox fan. I don't care if he plays for the Yankees now. One thing that can never be questioned about Roger is his competitiveness and his drive to win.

The Boston Redsox noticed often times bout Roger Clemons inability to keep going when the going gets tough. No matter pitch count or anything his problems are mental more than physical. With a 1 run lead he decides he is tired and takes himself out in the eigth inning and goes to the locker room and showers. This is in playoff situation in the 1980s. The bull pen takes over and the "other" team scores 3 runs to win the ballgame. One of the onfield reporters spoke with Roger about his departure and the reporter said Roger left the game because he was just tired...So even when he is in control ...But he is old and this is his last season. I kow that just watching him pitching today. His numbers are hall of fame caliber. He dosen't need baseball anymore and he really is tired for real. He will be 41 and that is asking a lot of a ballplayer to play any position. I think he just wanted out. You could see the fatigue in his eyes.
