What if they tripped over your foot, but it was an accident?

More inhuman than rude, actually, if they've actually fallen. You should make sure they are okay. At least say you're sorry and offer to help (not necessarily verbally). Chances are they'll let you know if they don't want any help (and perhaps with foul language).

Yes, of course it is rude. The decent thing is to offer a hand up especially because it *was* an accident.

If they tripped over your foot, yes incredibly rude.
If they just tripped over in general, would depend, if its a little old lady you shoud def help her, if its a strapping young lad he'd probably be embarrassed if you tried to help

You should always help someone if they need it.
If they tripped over my foot I would say "sorry" and help them up like any normal person would do.

Well, maybe they want to walk it off, so if you pretend nothing happened with them, that might make them happy.
If it was your foot, then it was you that tripped them, accidentally or intentionally. My guess is that they would be angry.

If they trip over your foot, they should apologise! But if any other time and its a serious trip, help would be appreciated, especially in the case of elderly.

It might look rude but you could be sued by the person if they thought you contributed to their condition by helping them.

It is very rude..even if they tripped over you foot ....I would help them.just think if it was you....you wouldn't want people laughing at you.

By the time I've stopped laughing & pointing, they've usually gotten up on their own.
