Britney and Amy have a long time ahead of them. Both have had big record sales in light of becoming druggies. That's a good impression to set the younger generation.

Amy Winehouse because she is emaciated looking and really a hard drinker. Brittney is just stupid. Louisiana women are trained to live through the pain...haven't you seen "Steel Magnolias"? or "Divine Sisters of the Ya Ya Sisterhood"? Southern women are naturally crazy in some way...we call it "character". Take "Crazy in Alabama" as an example as well.
That plus her Christian upbringing will make suicide improbable as it is the ultimate sin. We are taught from childhood that it is the only sin that God won't forgive. She will try to get her boys back and probably try to overcome all of the negative press. Years from now she will write a book. Britney has too much to live for and now something to fight for so I think that she'll finally see that she's just not being "youthful". I pray for Amy and hope that after Rehab she realizes that it's not "cute" to be a drunk. That's what I think anyway.
