Given Costello's answer last week, I am betting on December 1st. My expectation is that it will be called on October 15th prior to the sitting of Parliament starting.

Unless there is a strong move in the polls in the next few weeks, Howard is going to hold out to the very bitter end. I am guessing Australia will see elections sometime around Australia Day...

Hey Blue, You are correct. Left to Howard, I will never have to vote again in this lifetime. Clever little S+++cker will leave it as long as possible. Maybe to to clean out Kirrabilly House of the silverware and fittings.
