Lawsuits are simply forms filed within the judicial system. Once served, you can defend yourself but I would recommend hiring an attorney.

Adopt valid defenses authorized under the law in your answer to the charge so the the suit will be dismissed by the court.

all someone has to do is go to the courthouse and file a law suite then you have to go to court and present your case. the one with the presentation usually wins
