Yea I said "trying" because none of his movies are good in my opinion, I think he needs to stick to music...

I've never seen one of his cinematic efforts. I thought about seeing his Halloween remake because I loved the John Carpenter original. But I didn't go because I didn't want to compromise my positive perception of the very cool story. For the same reason, I've never seen any of the sequels past Halloween 2.

Not at all! Some may not like his films but they are so much more imaginative and interesting than the cheesy, stupid ones we see today.
