actually ive gone longer than 5 days once i got really badly sunburnt and couldnt shower for a week

I went 7 days without a shower once, I was really funky... I just got lazy, I'm ashamed, but I it happened, don't judge me =\

6 months and a few days. No sponge baths either. I was at an archaeological dig and water was available only because it was trucked in. I worked and slept in the same clothes in an old army tent, similar to what you see on M*A*S*H. The following year when I went back for another 6 month stay, they had drilled a well at the site and then we did the sponge bath route. It was an interesting experience but one I am not likely to repeat. One last thing, it was all men at the dig site both times I was there.

I've gone a week without showering while backwoods camping up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! I "washed up" quite a few times either with some water we brought or if we happened to camp near water, but that's not the same as a shower!!!

5 months! I was flat on my back in the hospital for that long. No shower, just sponge baths by the nurses. I was pretty ripe! It was heaven when I could finally take that first shower after all that time!!

I don't want to get off on a rant here, but...
I once went almost two weeks. At my National Guard annual training, the shower point wouldn't work. It took them almost the entire two weeks to get permission for us to go use the regular Army's showers in a gym.
We were dragging going in there, but it felt so much better on the way out. Except for the regular Army jerks glaring at us for invading their turf. Rat Bastards! But who do they call on to pull their bacon out of the fire? The Guard!!!

OMG..I'm very clean person..and I'm MEXICAN lol
listen..USE soap and warm water
rinse lather and repeat
or get a friend to wash ya down with a hose
what is wrong with you

i bet no one goes near you smelling stinky

remind me to not go near ya smelly
take care and wash..smelly
I always shower no matter how lazy or tired i feel
is hygiene and is a must do..

8 days, but I did bathe in a stream. We were backpacking in the Sierras.
