Despite their well documented problems and 'fall from grace', in my book they are still one of the best kick-a.s.s. rock bands ever. Its time to stop kicking them when they are down and start remembering all their good work.

...And Justice For All is probably their strongest album, for many reasons. Best lyrics, song structures, and 'tude. They were angry and on top of their game, right before they sold out to a mainstream audience with their black album, and after they got the high pitched thrash metal out of their system.
Master of Puppets is a close second.
People saying Kill 'Em All or anything after the black album don't know music.

every one of them!! i cant pick...metallica are the gods of metal everything they do is wonderful!!!!!!! i would have to say tho that fade to black and turn the page for my fav songs :D
