Mine are all normal except my pinky toes, which to be specific are just thick little nubs of nail material. They don't lay flat, just little stumps that grow UP and I try to keep them trimmed relatively flat. But they are difficult (and sensitive) to trim and I just have to keep working at them with the clippers.
My mother used to use an extra pair of the cat's clippers on me as a kid, but (because they are sensitive) I can't get myself to just nip it as fast as she could so I don't use them.

Nooo no no... I can't let them grow. Other then that being gross... lol ...I have to keep them short, because if I catch my toe on something and crack a nail, they break deep and painful. Deep enough it actually heals!
