DO NOT name them with matching names! Okay, so maybe semi-matching is okay, but not full-on matching. My math teacher from last year, her name is Tracy, and she has a twin named Stacy. She says they always got confused and they were always confused themselves when they were called on.
I think opposite names would be cute. Like...um, Elena and Sarah? That's the name of two sophomores in high school I know.

First it would help to know the sex. Second, remember they are going to have these names for ever so don't do anything like Ronald and Donald!! (My twin uncles are named this and hate it) A lot of names sound cute together even though they might not "match". So make a list a long list of names and weed through to see what you like. Then start pairing them up till you got a winning combination. Oh and CONGRATS!!

I think with twins it would be helpful to know the sex of the babies.
I dont think you should name them matching names that are too close. For example if you had a girl and boy and named them Alexander and Alexandra I don't think they would thank you for it.
You could have a theme though like both of thier names could start with the same letter, they could have the same or similar meaning or for example they could have flower names like Lily and Rose x

What about matching nicknames.. instead of names..
Like:
Gabriella and Abigail (Gabi and Abby)
Madison and Adelaide (Maddie and Addie)
Ella and Isabelle
Makayla and Michael (or Michaela and Michael)
Hamish and Hayden
Adrian and Hayden or Aidan and Hayden
Jayden and Hayden
If you REALLY want them to be similar:
Nicholas and Nicole
Jayden and Jada/ Jayden and Jade
Caden and Kate
Caden and Caitlin
Dana and Dean
Leah and Lilly
Madison and Mackenzie
Jessica and Janessa

Joshua and Jacob!! Josh and Jake for short! thats a reliable determination! Cody Joseph and Kai Jacob Dylan James and Ryan Micheal Kieran Joshua and Corey James Lucas Wyatt and Logan Cole Jace Riley and Reid Justin Noah Austin and Cameron Harvey Brody Elijah and Levi Jameson Scott Mitchell and Seth Marcus Zachary Matthew and Micheal Zander (Zack and Mike) Tyler James and Trenton Luke (Ty and Trent) Mason Kyle and Malakai David. Jace Riley and Reid Justin i actually like. this is lovable. they have reversed initials J.R and R.J and one syllable first names and a pair of syllable center names. so its matching yet not too matching. its lovable!

I think matching names are cheesy, but if you like them here are a few (these are all boy/girl combos by the way):
Victor and Victoria
Justin and Justine
Michael and Michaela
Christopher and Christine
Joel and Jolie
Alexander and Alexandra
James and Jamie
Mike and Michah
Jonah and Joanna
Kerry and Carrie
Eric an Erica
That's all I can think of now. Good luck!

I would suggest coming up with two names that you like instead of trying to match them. Good luck!
