I can not say that it will all go away but it will help some. Where are you having the pain? (upper/lower/middle back)
Exercise that strengthen your core muscles are very helpful to get rid of the pain. Physical Therapy Centers or a personal trainer can tell you the exercises that help strengthen your core muscles. Good Luck, I hope it helps you.

No, not if you've injured your back.
I've had more injuries to my back
& more surgeries than I like to
think about.
Sitting up straight doesn't really help
make the pain go away.
But aspirin and hot tea will help.

Yes, try to keep sitting straight all the time

It will probably get worse. You don't need to have stress on your back all day. If you lean against a chair, the stress on your back will be greatly reduced, because the chair is helping your back support your body weight.

If you carry a heavy book bag or back back...get one with wheels that rolls.
Try some gentle stretching exercises like windmills. see a chiropractor to be sure there isnt a pinched nerve or slipped disc happening.

No, because sitting up straight is actually bad for you, this is because sitting up straight puts all the strain on the lower back.

try to do some back stretches, that works for me when my back feels a little sore

Good posture helps, but not always enough. We don't move and stretch our backs in all the ways that we can/should and they get a little imbalanced.
