message when I tried to change the shipping address to my son's address in the same city instead of my own as I fear theft here if they leave it as I live in an apartment with a shared hall.
How can I pay with paypal and change the shipping address with this one item. I tried contacting the seller but he was very slow to answer my other questions and did not answer one of them so I do not want o be too slow waiting for him to respond and mess up my rating. How long do you have to pay for an item and not get a bad mark and do you know how to change the address on paypal if I am getting this message. Maybe I should just take a chance and mail it here but the post office has left packages at my door despite signs asking them not to leave packages.

Add a gift address on your ebay account. You can also log into your paypal account and add the address. You just cannot do it during a transaction. Once you have made the change it should give you the option to select the newly created address.

Call Paypal and ask them how you can make the change.
