Because their positions are based on emotionally charged sentiments. Circular reasoning and logical fallacy is really all that can be used to support positions based on the intangible emotional opinions.
As for conservative lawyers? Intelligent design was created by a lawyer who publicly exclaimed that it was an attempt to wedge religion into schools legally. Lawyers depend on trickery and slight of hand just as much or more than facts. They actually make pretty good lawyers.

Funny thing is "conservatists" often say they same thing about "liberalists"
Following your line of logic, all lawyers would be conservative, because all lawyers lie, right?

Lawyers are by nature conservative. They want laws and precidents all lined up neat and tidy so no one has to think.

Republicans are another can of worms. Propaganda is never based on fact but on bait and switch

What facts do you have to support your statement? Do liberals always make a decision without having the facts.

Not that I like or support Bush, but how many Liberals voted to go to war, based on poor intelligence, and are now blaming Bush and chaning thier positon on the war because it's an election year.

Yeah sweet heart I think the conservatives confused with the liberals. They are the ones who get all upset when presented with facts and start yelling and get all upset because they can't back what they are saying up. It's kinda funny, but also sad that people like that are elected to office.

YOUR POINT IS ADDRESSED TO WHAT AREA OF CONSERVATION?

SAVE THE WALES.
SAVE THE PLANET.
SAVE THE RAIN FORREST'S.
WERE THESE BAD?
ARE THEY NOT OF REAL FACTS OR MATTERS?
OR DID THEY NOT STOP THE WORLD TO THINK AND EVALUATE FOR A NA NO SECOND?
I THINK YOUR A PRIORITY POSTULATION NEEDS TO BE REPROCESSED.

The few real conservatives here actually do sometimes -- it's the Bush supporter crowd that is closer to what you describe .

NEVER is a pretty sweeping generalization, but for the most part you're right. They need to distort the facts because that's the only way they can support their view of the world

Are you f'ing kidding me? DO you ever listen to speeches?

The democrats never support anything... they always say theyre gonna do something... like end the war, but can never explain HOW...

Wait Im sorry I pretty much described almost every politician.

Your assertion is as baseless as saying that liberals arguments never have any facts behind them. However, it is closer to the truth when applied to liberals.
