You ask an impossible question to answer. Most things that are self explanatory are impossible to answer.

Everyone wants peace and everyone who wants peace is against war. Including warriors.

Many people want war because their version of peace has been disturbed.

Peace needs war to have an end.

War needs peace to have an end.

War and peace go hand in ugly hand.

It is called the human condition.

Period.

Self-explanatory? Maybe. I'll take a leap.

We humans proclaim that peace is the ultimate goal.

Yet we humans are inexorably drawn to war.

It seems we have yet to evolve to a point where the utopian idea of peace is attainable on a global scale.

We can't even seem to get out of a tavern without throwing fists at each other most nights.

My answer to your question: War.

Peace or War? Pretty self explanatory :Not really. People want war. Why? People have turned their back on God. People believe in God only when life is good for them. When things turn bad, they cease to believe in God.People blame God for acts as if he does not exist.Today everyone is dissatisfied, they cannot abide each other.Examples are the number of divorces and abortions. They say they want peace but they are not willing to turn with trust to God's infinite mercy. They would rather keep going the way they are, blaming each other. They would rather have war. They can't have it both ways.

sometimes war is needed, though scenario's like the crusades or holocaust, and including America's war in Iraq, is not one of those cases. People and governments are too consirned about being #1, being the "bad-***" truth is, with no land gain, no religious significance, or increased resources, what is the point of war?

I think that we should have peace, but if the government can't deal with that i think instead of real guns we should use paint ball guns. If there is paint on you, you are "dead" and you can't fight any more, it would bring the troops back.
